Testimonials

I’m thinking we all like to hear, “Nice job!” I’m going to share some of the kind words chipur readers have passed along. This isn’t about chest-thumping.  It’s just a matter of giving you something upon which you can base your confidence and trust.

Bill – Your site is beautiful!!! Not only the content but the layout. It’s extraordinary. Really. You write great stuff.  Therese (Therese J. Borchard of Beyond Blue)

I have never written a testimonial before. To say that I am cynical is usually an understatement. Yet, after being involved with chipur and having Bill’s support via posts and emails for about 6 months, I took the plunge and signed up for his one-on-one work, figuring it couldn’t hurt, as he really had shown he was smart, on top of things, empathic, and able to peel back the onion relatively painlessly. He has been 100% there for me, listening and redirecting (usually somewhat tactfully) and knowing he is there to bounce ideas off of has been invaluable. Knowing I need to call him and let him know what is going on and how I am handling things (or not) gives me the extra push to do what I have been needing to do. He, unfortunately, does not have a magic wand, but has valuable insight into what I can change and what steps I need to take to deal with what I can’t. I really appreciate all of his support and help and highly recommend working with him one-on-one.  Karen

I’m very happy to have found this website. I’ve been reading a lot since I found it a couple of days ago. I’m grateful that you have put this together. Knowing your story makes it even better. So, thank you!   Jaime

Mr. White: I am the one who is thankful. I have wrestled with the black dog for many years without success. So your  comments and perspective are like a lifeline.  Tim

Hi Bill – just wanted to say thanks for your blog and newsletters – they’re really helping me make sense of a lot of things right now. I stumbled on your writing through a random internet search and am very glad I did. I particularly appreciated your article on intrusive thoughts – I know you will understand the relief I felt at finally knowing what I was experiencing and that I wasn’t alone with these experiences. So thanks again.  Linda

Hi Bill, I have been receiving and reading your newsletters via email for a while now.  My wonderful therapist, xxxxxx, referred me to your newsletter and I can’t thank her enough. Keep writing such great newsletters!  They are so encouraging!  I have shared them with other friends/neighbors that experience the same kind of anxiety as me.  You seem to be a remarkable person doing a remarkable service for many of us.  I appreciate so much knowing you are out there and truly care for and are helping so many of us.  Candy

Bill…Thanks for the call. Why you came into my life I’ll never know, but you challenge me and that is something I have not had for a long time. I just wanted to thank you for your support and keeping me reasonably sane in a very insane time. You are doing more than your fair share for me.  Diana

I’m getting over all of this by stumbling on some articles and finding a man named Bill White on the Internet…I would be having huge hits of derealization and panic and would call him, and he would walk me through it making it seem like it would all go away. He really has saved my life and I can say I have my life back now!!!  Taylor

Hi Bill.  Thanks you so much for all your words of encouragement. Your newsletters have been a tremendous help and I love your website and all it offers. Thank you for what you are doing to help us get through this mess of panic attacks. You’ve been just a blessing to me….  Inna

Wow. That’s all I can say to that. I’m one of those people that when I’m truly looking for something, I will know when I find it. And that…is it. I did the same thing with you website. I just want to read it over and over…Thank you, it’s a great thing you’re doing….the way you’re helping people is inspiring to me.  Nicole

Thank you so much for all of this information.  You have given me hope again.  I haven’t had any for a  long long time.  Cindy

That was an amazing article (on derealization and depersonalization) – I’ve never read anything which conveys the sheer terror and sense of alienation that a sufferer feels quite as well as your piece…When I read your article I got a true sense of how I felt. Thank you for that – I suddenly feel more normal!   Jon

Again, it’s always nice to read and hear nice things about your work, and I really appreciate what these folks had to say. And, best of all, it’s within the context of helping others. Doesn’t get a whole lot better than that.

Thanks to all of you…

Bill
