Right smack-dab in the middle of my annual Chicago Christmas sojourn and want to send along a quick note…
Just now I’m kickin’-back in my daughter and her partner’s living room taking-in the goings-on. My two-year-old grandson is wearing his spaghetti lunch and his older sis and I will be playing another round of Hangman in an hour or so.
Been texting with my future daughter-in-law about getting together with her and my son tomorrow, Christmas Eve.
Sure, everything seems to be in good order. But, for whatever it’s worth, that doesn’t equate to a mood or anxiety miracle.
I am who I am, no matter special circumstances. And it’s always about acceptance and management. Within that context, I’m thrilled to be just fine.
So how’s by you right about now?
I understand this can be a tough time of the year for those of us who wrestle with mood or anxiety woes. Been there a time or 40.
However it’s going down for you, please just be you this holiday season. Do what you have to do to get-by and be sure to keep an eye on expectations. They’ll eat you up.
Well, just wanted to check-in and wish you my best. And I want to thank you for visiting Chipur throughout the year.
Take Care and Hang Onto Hope…
Bill
