You may be celebrating Christmas. Could be Chanukah. Then again, you may not be celebrating anything. No matter, I just wanted to let you know I’m thinking about you and wishing you well. Why? Because my readers mean a lot to me…
Here I sit on Christmas Eve with my daughter, her partner, and my two grandchildren in the ‘burbs of Chicago. Got in Friday night. We celebrate Christmas and all is calm, all is bright.
We’re very fortunate and we know it.
But don’t think for a minute we’re emotionally and mentally free as the breeze. You know I have my stuff, as do others under this roof. Thing is, we either self-manage or lay it on the table for discussion – or both.
Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, I hope you aren’t sadly alone – even in a crowd. But if you are isolated, especially by choice, use the time constructively for reflection. Fact is, you may prefer an alternate existence, but don’t know how to get there.
It’s the trickiest time of the year, isn’t it? Just know someone’s thinking about you and wishing you well.
